Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 13, 2026

The Short Version

Dart does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. Everything stays on your Mac. Period.

What Dart Accesses

Dart monitors your system clipboard to provide clipboard history and slot features. This data is:

Accessibility Permission

Dart requires macOS Accessibility permission to capture keyboard shortcuts (⌘+C/⌘+V + slot keys). This permission is used exclusively for hotkey detection. Dart does not read screen content, track keystrokes for any other purpose, or record any input outside of its clipboard slot functionality.

Data Collection

Dart collects zero personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, no crash reports sent externally. We don't know who you are, what you copy, or how you use the app.

Email Waitlist

If you sign up for launch notifications on our website, your email address is stored solely to send you a one-time launch announcement. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose.

Third-Party Services

Dart does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.

Changes

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and note the date. But honestly, our policy is simple and unlikely to change: your data stays on your device.
